Civilian Airports / Custom Forms

Custom Forms

Forms the airport builds for itself: private, internal, or public by QR code, published in versions, with every response numbered and handled.

The forms nobody built software for

Lost property, tenant requests, sign-up sheets, and checkout logs all need a form, and none of them needs its own program. They drift into shared spreadsheets and inboxes, with no numbering and no clear owner for the answers.

Custom Forms lets the airport build those forms itself, share them with the right people, and work every response to a status.

Build it, share it, handle the responses

  1. Lay out the form

Place and size fields on a grid. Choose from nineteen field types, including photo and file uploads and signatures, and start blank or from a template.

  2. Choose who can fill it in

Keep a form private, open it to everyone at the airport, or publish it at its own address with a QR code for the public to fill in without an account.

  3. Publish a version

Publishing freezes a numbered version, so a later edit never changes an earlier answer. File a form under another module and it appears in that module’s Forms menu.

  4. Work the responses

Every response is numbered under the form’s reference code, such as LP-0012. Set its status, add a handling note, and export responses as CSV or a response as a PDF.

What it automates

A public form with a QR code

Travelers, tenants, and contractors reach the form without an account.

Answers keep their meaning

Each response names the published version it answered.

Every response has an owner

Responses are numbered, handled to a status, and exported when needed.

Straight answers

Can the public fill in a form?

Yes, when the form is public. It gets its own address and QR code, and no account is needed. Photo and file fields stay on private and internal forms.

What happens to responses if we edit a live form?

Nothing changes for them. The builder edits a draft, people always fill in the published version, and each response names the version it answered.

Who reads the responses?

The form’s owner and the forms managers by default. The owner can share responses with everyone who can open the form.

Is Custom Forms on by default?

No. It is an opt-in module that each airport turns on.
