Civilian Airports / Assets
Airport Vehicle and Equipment Assets
One register of vehicles and equipment, each with a tag and a QR label that opens its status, work orders, inspections, and readings.
Request a demoNobody standing at the mower can see its history
A sweeper’s inspections sit under an inspection type, its work orders point at an area or a building, and its hours live in someone’s notes. The crew next to it has no way to see what has already been reported.
Assets puts the airport’s vehicles and equipment on one register. Scanning the label on a truck or a generator opens its whole record.
Tag it once, scan it from then on
Set up asset types
Name your own types, such as Vehicle, Mower, or Generator, each with a tag prefix and a meter in miles, hours, or none.
Add assets and print labels
Glidepath gives each asset a tag such as VEH-0042 and a QR label. Tags are never reused and never change.
Scan to open the record
A signed-in member of the airport scans the label with a phone camera and lands on the asset: status, open work orders, history, details, and photos.
Act from the asset page
Report a problem, start an inspection, log an odometer or hour-meter reading, or set the status to In service, Limited, or Out of service with a reason.
What it automates
One timeline per asset
Work orders, inspections, readings, and status changes come together on the asset’s page.
Labels that stay inside the airport
A scan opens only for signed-in members of the airport; anyone else sees Asset not found.
Retired, never deleted
A retired asset leaves the everyday list but keeps its tag and its whole history.
Straight answers
Is the QR label a public link?
No. Someone who scans it while signed out signs in first. People from another airport, or without a Glidepath account, get Asset not found.
Do we need a scanner app?
No. The phone’s own camera reads the code. The tag is printed beside it so it can be typed into search where cameras are not allowed.
Can a work order name the asset it is on?
Yes. A work order can name its asset, and an inspection type’s assets can be register assets, so both appear on the asset page.
Is Assets available on military installations?
The register is currently a Part 139 airport module, off by default and switched on per airport.
