Airport Construction Management
Every airport construction job from design through warranty: design reviews, phases, closures, cranes, NOTAMs, notices, and the CSPP record.
Request a demoA construction job touches every part of the operating airport
One taxiway project brings design reviews, phased closures, cranes, NOTAMs, a safety plan, construction checks, and a long list of people to tell at every change. Spread across email threads, binders, and the engineer’s drive, the job is hard to brief and harder to hand over.
Construction gives each job one page that everyone in Airport Operations sees, one shared map of what is closed and where the cranes are, and a log of what happened, from the first design review to the warranty walk.
From design review to warranty walk
Open the project
Record the job in design, planned, or under construction, with its capital project title and grant or project number, the contractor, dates, and work hours.
Work the design reviews
Track each design step with its expected package, Airport Operations’ comments and the designer’s answers, and the conference, then mark design complete when it finishes.
Plan phases on the project map
Draw work areas, closed pavement, haul routes, access gates, and cranes, with an instant check against the airport’s surfaces. Each phase keeps its closure times, linked NOTAMs, and who was told when it started.
Keep the safety record with the job
Each project carries its CSPP versions, construction checks with the AC 150/5370-2G checklist, daily briefings, and incidents. A phase’s closed pavement opens its airport condition when the phase starts.
Print notices and reports
Build construction notices, project reports, and status reports beside the real PDF, with framed maps and a legend of only what each map shows.
What it automates
Needs attention, soonest first
A penetrating crane, a closure with no NOTAM, design comments due, an overdue check, or a condition still open after its phase surfaces in one list.
A shift brief in one click
Build plain text of what is active, closed, up, and starting in the next 7 days for the shift change.
Coordination has a retained record
Who was told, meetings and their action items, and numbered construction notices show what was shared and with whom.
Straight answers
Is this the Construction Safety module?
It includes it. Construction manages the whole project, and at a Part 139 airport each project also carries its CSPP versions, construction checks, daily briefings, and incidents.
Does adding a closure activate an airport restriction?
A phase’s closed pavement opens a condition in the airport condition ledger when the phase starts. Restrictions still follow the ledger’s own authorization workflow.
Will it stop a status change if a list item is open?
No. Every list line and reminder has an N/A that records who marked it and when. Start work lists what is still open and asks, but never blocks.
Does Construction store our drawings?
Only the approved CSPP is uploaded. Drawings and meeting slides stay where the airport keeps them, linked from the project.
